Student & Recent Grad Information
Our unique areas of expertise draw talented students and graduates from all over the nation.
Student interns are assigned challenging engineering assignments and are encouraged to visit our clients’ job sites. Site visits provide an opportunity for our interns to visualize how their design drawings “come to life” and allow interns to interact with their mentors and our clients. Students evaluate Symbiont’s internship program and receive an evaluation of their performance at the end of their internships.
Recent graduates hit the ground running. We know our new hires expect their project assignments to be as challenging, and more challenging, than the rigorous coursework that they’ve just completed. Each of our client’s projects is unique, so there is never a routine engineering assignment at Symbiont. We also strive to help our junior talent learn about the business of consulting and construction as well as the importance of timely, direct, and diplomatic communications amongst the project team members. Our goal is to help you identify your strengths and preferences so we can help guide you to a career path that fits you best. Whether you lean toward project management, business development or being a technical expert or departmental leader, we have a career path for top talent like you!
Many of our employees have Masters Degrees and/or pursue additional educational opportunities after they are hired at Symbiont. We encourage professional development coursework and support our employees’ pursuit of professional licensure.

- Chemical Engineering
