Using GIS for Urban Forest Maintenance
March 09, 2018

During the summer of 2017, the City of Watertown documented over 5,000 trees using Collector for ArcGIS. Developing a comprehensive tree inventory, performing routine tree inspections, and documenting tree maintenance using Collector for ArcGIS is an easy process.  Come learn how the City of Watertown and other Wisconsin municipalities are leveraging GIS tools for tree inventory and management initiatives. Symbiont's GIS expert, Kyle Engelking, will be presenting these innovative strategies at the Annual Wisconsin Land Information Association (WLIA) conference on March 9th in Elkhart Lake, WI. Symbiont is proud to partner with the City of Watertown on this innovative approach to improving urban forestry operations.
